Philip Segal (born 19 June 2968) is a Wiltshirian politician and former corporate employee who is an incumbent member of the Wiltshire National Assembly as apart of the Stability Party of Wiltshire and, from September until October 3020, served as Deputy Prime Minister of Wiltshire. Segal was first elected to the National Assembly alongside the Progress Party in February 3020, defecting to found his own political party alongside Mitchell A. Crawley in September 3020.
Prior to his career in the National Assembly, Segal was an employee at the BlackCon Labs Corporation-EDU facility in Wiltshire. When BlackCon pulled out of Wiltshire during the 3019 social unrest, Segal remained behind. He became an active member of his local community center, which did significant amount of work helping the poor and vulnerable during the crisis, giving him a platform to become the Progress Party candidate in February 3020. Segal and Crawley are close long term friends and many compare their political relationship to that of Mark Edwin and Alberto Siliotti, or Jaresh Inyo and Edward Jellico.
Following Sonya Inyo's appointment as Prime Minister, Segal (as Leader of the Stability Party in the National Assembly) was appointed Deputy Prime Minister and served throughout the Sonya Inyo Ministry. Following the October 3020 Wiltshire Legislative Elections, the Stability Party leader, Mitchell Crawley, was elected to the Assembly and became Deputy Prime Minister. Segal was moved from the position of DPM to Minister for Trade.
