Mary (Mary Isabel Maekar; born 1 December 3017) is the Queen of Rockfield, having reigned since the death of her grandfather, Charles VI. Her ascension to the throne is considered to be one of the most bloody in Rockfield's history, due to her uncle's claim resulting in the Blackfyre Rebellion - the largest civil war in Rockfield's history. Following the Wiltshirian intervention in September 3021, Mary's claim was established to be firm, making her the undisputed Queen of the Rock. Mary is the first monarch in Balancín history to not rule an independent Kingdom, instead ruling under a power-sharing agreement with the Wiltshire Fifth Republic. Mary is the first Wiltshirian Queen, as well as the youngest since John, King of Rockfield. In addition, she is the first to be a non-Pontifical monarch, being the designated leader of the Church in Rockfield.
Due to her age, Mary's powers and responsibilities are held by the regency of Prince Antony Caliban, her great-uncle and the brother of the late Charles VI. As of 3022, Mary has been privately educated and is, legally, the richest person in Wiltshire due to her ownership and management of the Crownlands, with an estimated net worth of 40 Billion Corporate Marks.
