Wilkie Doctrine

From TCH Archive

The Wilkie doctrine is a Wiltshire government foreign policy position that opposes Murcian and imperial interference and intervention in the states of Wiltshire and Lorikeet. The doctrine also posits that the best way to maintain this barrier is through a strong network of alliances with other republican, democratic states, such as Paxem and Novenae.

Labour prime minister Patrick Rivers articulated the doctrine upon entering office in January 3026. He appointed infamous imperiosceptic Jenna Wilkie to be foreign minister, doubling down on the position of Wiltshirian self-determination. The Wilkie doctrine helped motivate political support for the holding of the 3026 Wiltshire sovereignty referendum, and the corresponding sovereignty caucus in Lorikeet.
