Adelin Bahn

From TCH Archive

Adelin Smith Bahn (born December 28, 2947) is a Wiltshirian politician and civil servant who served as Foreign Minister and as a senior member of the Government of Wiltshire during the Edwin Ministry. She also briefly served as Leader of the National Assembly. Bahn was first elected to political office in 3012 to serve as a local councillor in Walkerton with the Socialist Party. As she rose through the ranks of the Socialist administration in Walkerton, she quickly became responsible for the execution of healthcare policy. She continued in this role until 3019 with the Walkerton National Party's election to the government of Walkerton.

She continued to serve as a councillor in opposition under the WNP government and then Rufus Kaine's government until she was elected to the Wiltshire National Assembly in February 3020. She served as a backbencher during her first term in the Assembly, as well as on the Assembly Business Committee. She was promoted to the position of Leader of the Assembly following Tony Beck's resignation. She was quickly promoted to Foreign Minister as one of the most senior Socialists in the country.

In September 3020, Bahn resigned from the cabinet due to the ongoing WEA scandal, in which the government of Wiltshire was accused of rigging the 3020 Eastern Federal Republic general election. Bahn, believing the government to be guilty, resigned.
