The budget of His Excellency's government is an annual budget set out by the Wiltshire Treasury for the following financial year, with the revenues to be gathered by the Office for Revenues & Customs, and the expenditures of the public sector administered in compliance with government policy. The budget statement is made by the chancellor of the Exchequer in the Wiltshire National Assembly. In times of emergency, the chancellor may elect to introduce a continuing resolution, which can carry over a previous year's budget.

Budgets are usually set once every year and are announced in the National Assembly by the chancellor of the Exchequer, usually in the Autumn to allow for uptake time before the start of the new financial year in December.
