Sebastian Bashira (born 26 September 2974) is a Wiltshirian political activist and politician who is the current Leader of the Democratic Party and a candidate for President of Wiltshire in 3021. Bashira was a supporter of the formation of the Novanite Federation and of the Novenae Middle Democratic Party. Bashira sought the MDP nomination for President, losing to Franklin Morris. On his return to Wiltshire, Bashira sought election as a member of the Wiltshire National Assembly with the MDP but was unable to win a seat. He continued to promote centrism and economic liberalism throughout the New Corporate Republic occupation of Wiltshire. Bashira was arrested twice by the NCR police, but upon Wiltshirian independence was released. In the new Wiltshirian democracy, Bashira returned to form the Democratic Party.
In July 3020, Bashira announced his candidacy for President in 3021, being the first candidate to do so.
