Lvestarn politics are run by a corporation known as the Lvestar-Sutushalaven Group (LSG) that consists of a board of directors, and a CEO that acts as the head of state.

The nation has a extensive history containing a series of authoritarian regimes one after another. The current government, although less extreme compared to previous regimes, is still considered one of the strictest regimes on Taurus. It lists last on the Dalkaisk International Humanitarian Association's (DIHA) Press Freedom List and has the DIHA's second lowest national human rights score. Because of this, some have come to call the nation, Sutusha's State.

Lvestar is significant that it is the main belligerent behind the Lvestarn War, where the nation went to war with its neighbors, and opposed the Havenian Hegemony.

Lvestarn War

With the rise of ultranationalism and Ayvonian (Havenian, Lvestarn, Kayotan, etc.) irridentism within Lvestarn politics, rhetoric on the unification of all Ayvonian peoples under one nation started to take fold. Rhetoric against the "Bullseyan global order" also acted as casus belli.

Invasion of Kayot

The start of the Lvestarn war began with the invasion of Kayot on 14 Oct 2847, when Lvestarn forces entered Kayotan territory after a failed referendum of a Lvestarn annexation. Consequently, the entirety of the Havenian hegemony placed an embargo against Lvestar as well. In a little under a year and aided by the country's flat terrain, the invasion forces had overwhelmed and taken over Kayotan armed forces.

Invasion of Nirob

A month after the capitulation of Kayot, Lvestarn armed forces entered Nirobian territory. Ethnic Nirobians, as part of the Bullseyan family, faced extensive genocide and systematic killings called the "Ghep Tuy Niirb." Over the course of the next 20 years, Ayvonian settlers would be moved into the region to Ayvonicize the country. On 1 Jan, 2850, the Nirobian nation capitulated. Guerilla fighters remained active for the remaining of the war.

War against Haven

On 13 Sep 2851, Haven declared an ultimatum that if Blu'zia is invaded or if Lvestar does not pull out of Nirob and Kayot in 6 months, Haven will declare war. On 13 Dec of the same year, Haven declared war against Lvestar as a result of an invasion on the Havenian exclave of Tettaka, and Invasion of Blu'zia. Due to Lvestarn control of Nirob and Kayot, Tettaka was effectively cut off from Haven-proper and was entirely overrun by the invading forces.
