Lvestar, (/lə'vɛ.stɚ/; Lvestarn: Ɫ Vẹ Staar [ɫ̩ ve staʁː]) or the Lvestar Corporate Republic (Gu Mep Tụy Ɫ Vẹ Staar [ɠu mep tʊʲ ɫ̩ ve staʁː]), is a Tauran nation located East of Haven, and is also part of its hegemony.
Lvestarn politics are run by a corporation known as the Lvestar-Sutushalaven Group (LSG) that consists of a board of directors, and a CEO that acts as the head of state.
The nation has a extensive history containing a series of authoritarian regimes one after another. The current government, although less extreme compared to previous regimes, is still considered one of the strictest regimes on Taurus. The distinct perception of totalitarianism in the nation has garnered the name from outsiders, Sutusha's State.
Lvestar is significant that it is the main belligerent behind the Lvestarn War, where the nation went to war with its neighbors, and opposed the Havenian Hegemony.
Lvestarn War
With the rise of ultranationalism and Ayvonian (Havenian, Lvestarn, Kayotan, etc.) irridentism within Lvestarn politics, rhetoric on the unification of all Ayvonian peoples under one nation started to take fold. Rhetoric against the "Bullseyan global order" also acted as casus belli.
Invasion of Kayot
The start of the Lvestarn war began with the invasion of Kayot on 14 Oct 2847, when Lvestarn forces entered Kayotan territory after a failed referendum of a Lvestarn annexation. Consequently, the entirety of the Havenian hegemony placed an embargo against Lvestar as well. In a little under a year and aided by the country's flat terrain, the invasion forces had overwhelmed and taken over Kayotan armed forces.
Invasion of Nirob
A month after the capitulation of Kayot, Lvestarn armed forces entered Nirobian territory. Ethnic Nirobians, as part of the Bullseyan family, faced extensive genocide and systematic killings called the "Ghep Tuy Niirb." Over the course of the next 20 years, Ayvonian settlers would be moved into the region to Ayvonicize the country. On 1 Jan, 2850, the Nirobian nation capitulated. Guerilla fighters remained active for the remaining of the war.
War against the Havenian Hegemony
On 13 Sep 2851, Haven declared an ultimatum that if Blu'zia is invaded or if Lvestar does not pull out of Nirob and Kayot in 6 months, the entirety of the Havenian Hegemony would declare war. On 13 Dec of the same year, Haven declared war against Lvestar as a result of an invasion on the Havenian exclave of Tettaka, and Invasion of Blu'zia. Due to Lvestarn control of Nirob and Kayot, Tettaka was effectively cut off from Haven-proper and was entirely overrun by the invading forces by 2853. 4 Months later, Blu'zia was also under complete Lvestarn control.
Fighting continued as Lvestarn forces pushed through a majority of the southern portion of Haven-Proper. Havenian forces suffered logistical problems, undertrained troops, and incompetent generals that allowed Lvestarn forces to push all the way to the Carthyan border by the beginning of 2857. Havenian forces retreated to the more mountainous north of the country, as well as Citadea and Avenia, where terrain would make make conquest much more complicated.
Invasion of Carthya
With the arrival of Lvestarn forces onto the Carthyan border, an invasion of the country took place. Similarly as in Nirob, a systematic killing of the local Carthyan population took place due to their Bullseyan origin. This was known as the "Ghep Net Kart'." By the end of February of the same year, the nation was conquered as Havenian forces sought to retreat their forces into the mountains than to provide military support to the Carthyan People.
With A complete occupation of the coastlines on the Havenian homeland, the navy was isolated from central command and was quickly defeated as Lvestarn forces focused on the Kyotilles island chain. An invasion of Havenian Genissis took place, and by May of 2858, all fighting ceased as the forces on Genissis had surrendered.
During this time, Haven resorted to a long-term entrenchment in the mountainous Northern Haven, Citadea, and Avenia after a large string of losses. A stalemate between the two sides then ensued on this front of the war.
Dalkaisk Entrance into the War
Under the pretexts of Ayvonian Irredentism and Genissisan Unification under a single flag, Lvestar Invaded Dalkaisk Genissis. Both ethnic Dalkaisk and Genissisans live on the island, with the former residing in cities and on the coast with the latter residing inland. A third major genocide was committed towards the Dalkaisk on Genissis known as the "Ghep Reap Dauk." Forces eventually pushed to the northwest of the island, overrunning the city of Genissis (Genisitsaj) in November of 2860. Fighting bogged down with all but the southwestern coast of Genissis under Lvestarn control. In Mid-2861, due to overstretching of Lvestarn governance, fighting slowed down. With high war exhaustion on both sides, both sides agree to a temporary ceasefire.
