Franklin "Frank" Pedro Eddington (born October 24, 2954) is a Wiltshirian statesman and politician who served as Prime Minister of Wiltshire between 3016 and 3019, considered the most successful Socialist Party leader in history. Eddington won multiple consecutive landslide elections, completely changing the face of Wiltshirian politics. In addition, Eddington is the longest serving Prime Minister to date, serving 1,087 days.

Eddington's policy reforms became the benchmark for the welfare state that still remains in place to this day and his response to international crisis' such as the 3015 Economic Recession, the 3017 Corporate Depression and the 3018 August and October Conflicts are still considered some of the best to this day. However, despite maintaining Wiltshire throughout the crisis', Wiltshire's debt did grow substantially and bureaucracy expanded. By 3019, Wiltshire's position in the region had been diminished. In addition, while poverty was limited and shrank during 3016 and 3017, by 3019 the rate of poverty was on the rise again and many Wiltshirians feared that the "progressive" socialist government was becoming too bloated. Eddington's popularity fell in 3018 and by New Years Day in 3019, he was replaced by Audrick Hill as Prime Minister.

Following his time in government, Eddington founded the Eddington Foundation. The Eddington Foundation became a key charity and aid provider during the 3019 political and social crisis, especially in the aftermath of Hurricane Sarina. During the time of the Novanite Federation, Eddington sought the Presidency in September 3019, losing to Marco Pierre. While the Eddington Foundation maintained its work, Eddington himself remained committed to working in Wiltshirian politics. Following independence of Wiltshire, Eddington announced that he would seek the Wiltshirian Presidency in 3021.

However, the most notable of these was the repealing of the Universal Healthcare Act.
