Marco Luther Pierre (born April 17, 2986) is a Novanite politician who is currently serving as the Acting Director of Scion and is the President-Elect of the Novanite Federation, being elected in the September 3019 Novanite Presidential Election.
Pierre served as Scion Secretary of State under President, and later Director, Micro Angelo and was the loudest advocate for the restoration of the Scionite Provincial Government following President Franklin Morris' decision to suspend the government following the assassination of Director Micro Angelo.
Pierre's political career, within Scion, has been long and due to his advocacy for the return of the government, Pierre was the obvious choice to lead that government. Pierre was named by the Scion Democratic Assembly as Acting Director on July 15, 3019. However, Morris argued that the SDA (Scion Democratic Assembly) was ilegitimate and could not name a permanent Director until an election could be held in Scion. The Federal Elections Commission decided the election would take place concurrently with the Federal Presidential and Parliamentary Elections on September 8. Morris did, however, appoint Pierre Acting Director to serve until a new Director would be appointed in September.
Pierre was, once again, the obvious candidate (due to the CDP being extremely popular within Scion) however Pierre announced that he would not seek re-nomination as Director, instead choosing to challenge incumbent President Franklin Morris. He was successful in defeating President Morris in the election, becoming President-Elect. Pierre will become the 2nd President of the Novanite Federation on September 15, 3019.
