Barkshire is a city and prefecture of the New Corporate Republic. Barkshire split off from Byfair during a regional territorial re-organization and put in control of rail magnate Flop E. Disc during its time as part of the Eastern Federal Republic. On the formation of the New Corporate Republic, on December 1st of 3019, Barkshire agreed to become a member state.

Barkshire prides itself as the central hub for Superlink and it's affiliates. Once a thriving industry town, Barkshire has seen a spike in crime throughout 3019. The City's main sporting venue is the 80K seat domed stadium better known as the Linkdome.
