Sir Alan Kelly (born 31 October 2972) is a Wiltshirian Labour Party politician and senior government minister who is currently Deputy Prime Minister of Wiltshire and Labour minister, serving in the sixth Labour government. Previously, he served as First Minister of State and Minister for Defence during Mark Edwin's Ministry, and currently serves as Shadow Defence Minister. Kelly served two non-consecutive terms as a Member of the Wiltshire National Assembly between April 3019 until September 3019 and again between February 3020 until present. Kelly was first appointed to the cabinet during the Ministry of Mark Edwin as Utilities Minister, being promoted to Foreign Affairs then to Defence following the July cabinet reshuffles. Kelly also took the role of First Minister of State, giving him ranking control (besides the Prime Minister) of the cabinet. Kelly left government when Mark Edwin was dismissed as Prime Minister during the WEA/EFR electoral scandal.

Kelly's political career started as a campaign advisor to the Socialist Party Prime Minister Frank Eddington, eventually becoming elected a local councillor for Juneville. He defected from the Socialist Party to the Labour Party, led by Rita Smith, and became a Labour candidate for the Assembly in April 3019. He was elected and served as a backbench member until losing his seat in September 3019 to the National Party candidate, Tom Hyllis. He returned to private life, until following Wiltshire's independence from the New Corporate Republic. He stood again as a candidate for the Assembly, getting re-elected. He served in Mark Edwin's front bench team until the June 3020 election, when he was appointed to cabinet.
