Following the Labour victory in the November 3019 Election, Henry Campbell-Trenneman was invited to form the Campbell-Trenneman Government on November 26, 3019. The government was democratically elected, as opposed to its predecessor and started work immediately on the reconstruction and rebuilding of key public services and the armed forces. The government was not long lasting, however, as Wiltshire was invaded by the New Corporate Republic, with Henry Campbell-Trenneman being replaced as head of government by Samuel Thune and the Thune Administration (Wiltshire).

History and formation

The September Mutiny saw a complete collapse in government in Wiltshire. The ODR ran a dictatorial regime in the country and it took a popular revolution for democracy to be returned to the region. This was successful when, on November 6, 3019, Ludwig Kohl's caretaker government scheduled elections to form a new Parliament and a new government. The elections were held and the contest was primarily between Labour Leader, and winner, Henry Campbell-Trenneman, Conservative Leader and Former Prime Minister Audrick Hill and Former Foreign Minister (and National Leader) Bernard Canterbury.

The Labour Party ran on a "5 key point manifesto", for which the Labour government promised 5 key reforms in the first 3 months (before expanding to wider reforms following this). The five key points were;

  • Completely and wholeheartedly reform healthcare, with a single-payer system,
  • Completely rebuild Wiltshirian infrastructure and achieve a B-Grade for infrastructure by the end of 3020,
  • Create a National Education Service and allow for the creation of the first Wiltshirian University,
  • Hold a final, legally binding, referendum on Wiltshire's membership of the Novanite Federation
  • Ensure every Wiltshirian has access to; food and water, housing, education, health and/or social care and broadband.
