For centuries, The Volstun corporation has always specialized in extracting minerals and resources from the ground up. One of the larger Mega-Corporations in the Oscdean States, Volstun Mining INC is a backbone industry in the Oscdean society. From conducting ground mining stations on Taurus and Terra to asteroid mining near ceres, Volstun is responsible for most of the mineral and resource imports to a majority of the Tauruan Nations.
Origins
The Volstun Mining Corporation was originally founded by a Dalkaisk man who resided in Oscdea shortly after escaping from a SMG gulag. After 3 years of working as a mineral inspector in one of Oscdeas main mining facilities in Southeast Alphinia, Jaharsk Volstun, together with a distant relative, Merkavsk Jiezie, founded Volstun Mining and settled their main base of operations near what will eventually be known as the Frontlands.
With the demand for resources high for Oscdea during the Cold War, Volstun Mining was an instant success, and began to sell minerals and resources to large corporate conglomerates in the Oscdean State.
