Unterwerfensoldaten

From TCH Archive

Acting in cities controlled by C.E. as a mixture of secret police and anti-terror units, this class of C.E. PMC (Private Military Contractor) is trained to be particularly brutal, and is special in that it only deals with elements of the civilian population rather than enemy combatants from another faction. Meant to actively investigate rebel groups, they are deployed alongside normal C.E. PMC's in cities under C.E. control. Operating under the Geheimpolizei (Secret Police), Unterwerfensoldaten (Literally - Subjugator-Soldiers) are symbolic of the C.E. regime.

An Unterwerfensoldaten.

Anti Terror/Rebel

Unterwerfensoldaten operate under the Geheimpolizei, which actively investigates threats to the existing C.E. regime in an occupied area. Thusly, they are specially trained in antiterror situations. Using intelligence gathered from the Geheimpolizei's massive surveillance apparatus, Unterwerfensoldaten will conduct specialized raids on civilian buildings and areas. They have nearly unlimited power to arrest and issue punishments on the spot, including lethal. This power has given them a feared reputation among the civilian populations of the cities they are used in. Often, they will be assisted and supplemented by normal C.E. PMC's.

Riot Control

In riot situations in occupied zones, Unterwerfensoldaten are deployed. Trained for crowd control and pacification, they will use nonlethal tactics first. However, in extreme situations where the crowd presents an immediate danger, they will utilize lethal force, firing into the mass of people to force them to disperse. They are also in charge of breaking up peaceful protests against the regime.

Equipment and Uniform

Unterwerfensoldaten, due to not usually being deployed in heavy combat situations, are less heavily armored than typical C.E. PMC's. They also do not use Rigid-Frame-Exoskeletons, unlike most other PMC variants. They only have a kevlar vest and an armored facemask with an inbuilt respirator, as well as a helmet. For weaponry, they typically carry submachine-guns, pistols, and rifles. They may also use riot shields in riot scenarios. They are generally only equipped with nonlethal grenades. They do have the special ability of electrifying their gloves, with power being provided from the pack on their back. This allows them to deliver 6 milliamps of electricity with any physical contact to their gloves, effectively putting the target on the ground immediately with the same effect as a police taser.
