The Kingdom of Shipley, more commonly referred to simply as Shipley, is a constituent Kingdom and region of the Balancín Kingdoms that borders west of Balancía and the Newton. Previously a city within the Wiltshire Republic, Shipley declared independence alongside Balancía and the Newton during the Doggerlands Crusade of 3023 by King Maximilian the Crusader. It is the smallest region of the Kingdoms.
Shipley is known for its industrial output and was previously home to the Shore Sector's oil fields prior to the reorganisation efforts of 3022-23. Comprised of three duchies (Estaire, Farleigh, and Shipley), the Kingdom of Shipley suffered significant damage as the theatre of two major international conflicts, the NCR-IDO War (3021) and the Doggerlands Crusade (3023-24).
