The Imperial II-class Star Destroyer is one of the main-line combat ships used by the Dark Angels Navy. Built in a wedge-shape to maximize firepower, it is ship deployed to instill fear in enemies. Heavily shielded and and outfitted with powerful turbolasers, its primary role in combat is to engage with other large capital ships. This ship replaced its predecessor, the Imperial I-class Star Destroyer, after the relocation of the Dark Angels base on Terra. These ships are usually deployed to protect other important ships such as Leviathans or the Tyrant.
