Elisa I (Elisa Patricia Murcia; 6 March 2650 until 1 February 2703), also known as Elisa The Cruel, was Queen of Rockfield from the end of the long reign of King Charles I until her death in 2703. Despite being the first ever ruling Queen of the Rock, she is best known for her vigorous attempts to displace her son, later Charles II, and for her cruel treatment of him. She was the last monarch from the original House of Murcia, with her son and successor taking his father's house, the House of Martell.
Elisa was the only child of Charles The Old and his first wife Anne, the Duchess of Hanover. Despite Charles later remarrying, Elisa remained his only child and heir. At the age of 13, Elisa was formally proclaimed as Charles' heir in a formal ceremony. She was betrothed to Lord Maeron Martell of Sardinia.
