Chisel Enterprises AD-777 "Shard"

From TCH Archive

Overview

The Chisel Enterprises AD-777 is a flying personal transport vehicle of terran origin. A luxury item meant for the super wealthy, the cost of one of these craft is between 1.3 and 1.7 million Corporate Marks.

Clientele

The purchasers of the AD-777 typically consist of high-level corporate executives, government officials, celebrities, famous musicians, and those others lucky enough to be able to avoid the traffic below. This has led to the AD-777 being nicknamed the "Lucky Seven" or the "Triple Seven", in reference to the winning lottery combination.

While Aerodynes are most popular in the high-density Paxemese cities of Cyrene and Winden, they are seeing increased popularity in other countries like Novenæ, Oscdea, and Dalkai.

Effect

The popularity of the AD-777 among the wealthy and powerful has led to the adoption of infrastructure to service them. Landing pads with the letters "AD" or "V" are common in Paxemese cities, and Aerodyne garages are beginning to be built in governmental centers and corporate buildings. Some luxury mansions and villas even have their own personal AD garages. Each pad typically includes the ability to charge the AD via electromagnetic induction. This has led to the less wealthy taking advantage of this by charging their phones or other induction-capable devices directly on empty AD pads. This is quickly becoming illegal in most Paxemese cities, and some landing pads even have weight sensors to only begin sending an electric current when an Aerodyne is parked on them.
