Amelia Elizabeth "Amy" Raab (born 2 March 2957) is a Wiltshirian politician who is currently a member of the National Assembly since 3025 and deputy prime minister of Wiltshire since December 3025. She is a member of the Republic party.
Previously, she was a member of the Liberal Alliance, having been a member of the Assembly between 3017 and 3019, during which time she served as minister for transport and later minister for education under the National governments of Fillmore Grey and Jim Balfour. She retired from politics after the 3019 social crisis and depression, ultimately returning in 3025.
In 3025, Raab challenged Kirk Ashford for the leadership of the Liberal party, defeating him in a close 4-3 caucus vote. After becoming leader, Raab invited former Conservative assemblyman Lothair Mendes to join their caucus, which he did. Raab became deputy prime minister upon agreeing to enter into a coalition with new Conservative leader Audrick Hill. Following the passage of the Secular Bill of Rights and the December 3025 constitutional crisis, she agreed to merge the Liberal party with the Conservative party to create a single, united republican party, which she co-deputy leads, alongside Hill.
