Overview
Pontifex Rokossovsky took office in 3016 and ruled for a short four years as Pontifex of Ecclesia and leader of the Church. Pontifex Rokossovsky is perhaps the most controversial Pontifex in modern history. He expanded the Pontifical Church from just Ecclesia and Lancastria, into nearly every country in the Doggerlands. His rule also saw the NCR-Ecclesian conflict, which decimated much of the city and brought Ecclesia into the Republik, ending centuries of foreign isolation. He died 11/2/3020, aged 64, of a massive heart attack in the newly built Pontifical Palace which he had commissioned.
Early Life
Pontifex Rokossovsky's name by birth is Aleksandr Rokossovsky. Rokossovsky chose to keep his own last name as his regal name. This practice is uncommon, but sometimes done to present Ecclesian native Slavic names with superiority over their Latin or English counterparts. It is the first instance of a Pontifex using this name.
Prior to being elected Pontifex, Aleksandr Rokossovsky entered the seminary at age 18 and was ordained at age 23. He became Auxillary Bishop rather young, at age 30, and led the faithful for several decades. Upon the death of the late Pontifex Vasiliev III, Rokossovsky, aged 60, was elected to the throne in the 16th Conclave.

Personality
The Pontifex was well known for having expensive tastes (as shown in his superyacht the Malinovka) as well as brandishing firearms and swords at public events. His Holiness allowed many forms of news and media throughout the country and even gave an exclusive interview with the WBC, a large contrast with the majority of Pontificates which heavily restrict free press.
