Federal House is the official residence and workplace of the president of the Novanite Federation. It is located at 128 West Sanders Avenue, Washington E.R. and has been the residence of President Franklin Morris since the formation of the Novanite Federation in March 3019 and prior to that, the official residence of the President of the United Federation of Planets between 2985 and 2998. The term "Federal House" comes from the time in which it was used as the residence for the President of the United Federation of Planets prior to the C.E./Federation War.
The building was designed by architect Ronald Crespei in 2880 following the United Federation Congress' decision to locate the capital of the recently reformed Federation to Doggerland, creating the city of Washington E.R..
