The Udani Class destroyer is a Faraum age fleet warship developed by the Unisah Corporation in 3018. Named after its designer, Omur Udani, the ship was closely designed with the Vindictus Ove for a new type of ship that would serve as a routine patrol ship and provide efficient strike capabilities.
Development
The Udani Class was developed and designed by Omur Udani, who worked closely with the Vindictus Ove as the navy needed a ship that marked the start of the Writ of Faraum Gefari, and would out match the degrading Ceres Class battleships.
Due to its size, the ship was instead built and developed at the Avalon shipyard inside of the Oscdean States. During most of its construction, most of the ship was built with Terran resources. In early 3018, the first Udani Class, the Marbelum Ysuiah I, was launched
As of 3019, there are currently 7 active first-generation Udani Class destroyers serving in the Vindictus Ove.
Combat
The Udani Class ships are the backbone forces and the image of the Vindictus Ove, as they are machines built for war. They carry a wide array or armaments and logistical support for any type of encounter they face while providing thick armor throughout the hull.
The most notable feature of the Udani Class is it 3x375mm Twin Carbide rail guns, used exclusively for ship to ship combat. Notable use of the cannons are recorded during the Morsehead Conflagration, as 3 shots are enough to destroy a C.E Kurki Class cruiser during the C.E raid on Oscdea. Although the cannons have know significant drawbacks, including large CPU power usage and charge time.
Another known tactic of the Udani is known as “Scrapping”, or simply ramming into ships
