The government of the Balancín Kingdoms, formally and legally known as His Majesty's Government, is the central executive authority of the Balancín Kingdoms. The government is officially a trigonal government, with three heads operating in a hierarchy. The three heads of the government are: His Majesty King Maximilian II (as Lord of the Balancín Kingdoms); the Lord Keeper of the King's Seal (as temporal leader); and the Archbishop of St. Alfonso's (as spiritual leader). The concept of trigonal government comes from the geometric shape of a triangle: the apex being that of the Crown, and the two remaining vertices being the temporal and the spiritual leaders (nominated by Parliament as the Lord Keeper and the Archbishop of St. Alfonso's). Aside from the leadership, there are several executive offices which exist that function operationally.

The offices of His Majesty's government are:

Temporal

Temporal offices are offices of the Crown that function executively on matters related to: the nation's finances; security and defence; land management; law enforcement; legislative and intergovernmental relations; and the constitution. They are appointed by the temporal leader of the government, who is in turn appointed by the King.

  • Lord Temporal (temporal leader)
  • Lord Keeper of the King's Seal
  • Lord President of the King's Court
  • Lord Treasurer
  • Lord High Chancellor
  • Lord Proctor of the King's Justice
  • Lord High Steward
  • Lord Chancellor of the Crown Estates
  • Lord High Marshal and Great Constable
  • Lord Proctor of the King's Peace

Spiritual

Spiritual offices are offices of the Church that function executively on matters related to: the functioning and operation of churches in the Diocese of Balancía; the regulations and guidance of promoting the Christian faith; the regulations and guidance of the work of charities and third sector organisations; the executive operations of education services; the executive operations of health services; the executive operations of social care and elderly care; the regulation and guidance for social interactions; and the regulation and guidance for cultural promotion and preservation. They are appointed by the spiritual leader of the government, who is in turn appointed by the King.

  • Lord Spiritual (spiritual leader)
  • Archbishop of St. Alfonso's
  • Bishop Proctor of Evangelisation
  • Bishop Proctor of the Service of Charity
  • Bishop Proctor of the Service of Education
  • Bishop Proctor of the Service of Health
  • Bishop Proctor of the Service of the Venerable
  • Bishop Proctor of the Laity, Family, and Life
  • Bishop Proctor of the Culture

Collectively, the spiritual and temporal officers comprise the Council of the Realm; the Balancín cabinet.
