H.R. is a Nepalese-Tibetan ex-Buddhist monk currently serving as the 1st Prime Minister of Novenae.
Early Life
Not much is known of H.R.'s early life, apart from what he reveals to the press and scattered records that are, so far, unconfirmed. HR has revealed he was born in the barn of a farm in Tibet, not far from the Tibetan village where he would spend most of his childhood.
H.R. cites tinkering with machines as a favorite pastime during his childhood. Reportedly he spent hours scrounging together any mechanical parts he could find, and was especially interested in machines imitating biological organisms or the science of biomimetics.
As such, many of HR's belongings employ biomimetics in his favor. His robe, infused with reengineered spider silk, is tougher than kevlar, eliminating the need for a bulletproof vest. His pet hummingbird is also mostly digital, despite imitating many of the mechanics and behaviour of a real hummingbird.
As is the custom with most young Tibetan men, at 18 HR was inducted into the local monastery and served as a monk for 3 years. Certain aspects of the lifestyle "grew on him", leading him to keep his signature robe and many of his Buddhist mannerisms well after his time at the temple.
