Samantha Schrӧder (born January 2, 2982) is a former Wiltshirian politician who served as the 10th Prime Minister and the 1st Director of Wiltshire as Leader of the Conservative Party. Schrӧder was the first female Wiltshirian Head of Government and also the last Prime Minister as under her government, Wiltshire formally joined the Novanite Federation.
Schrӧder was Chairwoman of the Conservative Party and Minister without Portfolio under the Hill Ministries. Schrӧder was a supporter of Hill. However, believed that the government should be fully supportive of the growing Novanite Federation. Schrӧder was heavily pro-Novanite and was the loudest champion for a presidential style of government in the NF. So, when Prime Minister Audrick Hill resigned, Schrӧder saw a prime opportunity to advance the work of the pro-NF campaigners (who had just won the Wiltshire NNF Membership Referendum). Schrӧder, with her influence in the party, easily won the leadership. For a short time, she was merely Prime Minister-Designate as Audrick Hill extended his resignation date. However, folding into pressure, Hill formally resigned on February 11 and Schrӧder immediately succeeded him.
Schrӧder's government started with alot of promise. The Conservative Party had won the last election very convincingly and the country seemed supportive of the first female Prime Minister. However, in February it was revealed that the married Schrӧder was involved in a sex scandal. This scandal was a shadow over the rest of her time in office and she would be unable to shake the sexism and misoginy that came along with it. She was able to secure full membership of the Novanite Federation and became the first Director of the Province of Wiltshire. However, she was unable to translate this into success at the ballot box as in April 3019 Wiltshire Legislative Elections, she was defeated by Rita Smith's newly formed Labour Party.
