HE FRACTURE IN OUR SOCIETY

𝐅𝐨𝐫 the past few months our government, the "patriotic" and "valiant" UCGB, lectured us on the evils of socialism, liberalism, and anti-capitalism. We were taught that being a police state was a good thing. But now, the recent presidential elections have left many dazed and confused, as it seems our "indestructible" beliefs in anti-liberalism were shaken to its core. In only a matter of days, The authoritarian Heinrich Totenkopf was replaced by the energetic, leftist Social Democratic candidate Mark De Vries. Many will be quick to attribute the change to the recent and highly destructive October and August conflicts, but the reality is that the rift between corporatists and anti-capitalists has always existed. The majority of us have grown up in a society where the dominant entity is the Corporation, whilst the State and Government only function to provide management services and security and other basic needs. But ever since the founding of the Nijmegen SFSR, the number of citizens challenging the system have increased drastically. The A.S.R's predecessors, the SRAV and Arstotzka were the first experiments in the Doggerlands of actual people's governments, but even their successor has proven vulnerable to the grasp of the ever-powerful corporations.(edited)

But the events in Bonitana, A.S.R and Novenae prove that we, the workers, the citizens, have a voice. Yes, we may be clamped down on, abused, and used as pawns in the sadistic game of corporate chess, but we will always prevail. Bonitana changed from a fascist state to a democracy only a few days ago because of us. A.S.R outed their dictator James Testificate because of our voices. And now the people of Novenae are finally speaking up against the corporations that have kept them on a short leash for most of their life. The age of corporations will end, and nations, ones for people, not for profit, will replace them. 1100 years ago the "First World War" ended, and alongside it did the old regimes of the Kaisers, Tsars, and Sultans. Chisel Enterprises, Mechadyne, PorkyCo, and the other corporations and their collaborators may destroy us without any regard for our lives, hide in their facilities, but their expiration date is coming. They will be replaced, removed, and returned to the dirt of this earth, and out of that dirt a new era will grow.
