Clementine, officially the Clementine Corporate Republic, is an island country in the Southern Doggerland Basin. The nation was founded by and is largely run by the Clement Corporation. Home to several major corporations including the Clement Corporation, the nation is one of the wealthiest and most advanced Terran countries on the Doggerland Bank.
History
Clementine has its beginnings in the Clement Corporation, which began in 3000 as a maritime passenger transit service company, namely its Cruise Line and Water Taxi Service. These operations grew into land and air transit services over the following decades becoming the largest maritime and road transit operator on the Doggerlands. CEO Nikolay Petrov greatly expanded the scope of the corporation in 3020, securing a deal with the Pontifical States government which traded a controlling interest in the corporation to the government in exchange for a semi autonomous territory in the nation, Clement Isle. The company began a multi year long development of a major theme park destination on the island, and brought into the corporations objectives the larger consumer market. Since the deal, the corporation has launched auto services, rental services, appliance products, and cola products.

Geography
Clementine is located on the larger island of Clementopia, a natural island landmass situated centrally in the Southern Doggerland Basin. The island is largely flat and low-lying similar to the rest of the Doggerland Bank. Clement contracted some minor terraforming in the Clementopolis region to create the circular bay that hosts the city's harbor developments.
Notably, due to the installation of Michele Raquella corporation climate towers, the island has a unique microclimate which prevents the island from ever dropping below freezing.
