Universalism is a religious and political school of thought which advocates for broad missionary and diplomatic outreach from the Pontifical Church and government of the Pontifical States to the various political and corporate entities of the Doggerlands, especially to non Christian states. In addition universalism is associated with generally calling for liberal reforms of the Pontifical Government including greater political freedoms and balances with regards to the power of the Pontifex.
The school of thought stands opposed to the historic traditionalist perspective which remains the majority consensus amongst the clergy, however the election of universalist Pontifex Rokossovsky in 3016, the only universalist to ever hold the pontificate, and the promulgation of his pontifical bull Evangelinz Universalis, represent significant advancement of universalist goals in recent years.
