Daokan (Ethnicity)

The Daokan ethnicity is known to have derived as a strong mix of Japanese, Palauan and Sicilian cultures in the late 29th century.

Daokans Origins

Japanese and Pacific Islander immigrants founded Okinawa in 2837 in an attempt to restore historic landmarks and the old Japanese identity. Over the years, there was a fusion in identity between the founders and the Sicilian residents of the city. This merger in culture was widely regarded as the beginning of the Daokan identity. The name Daokan was derived from Professor Dao Meili who originally studied the fusion of the cultures.

Daokans Today

Daokans are the dominant ethnicity in Sentosa and in Marino. Lorikeet was formally regarded as the Doggerland's capital for Daokan Culture, however since the take over by the UCGB, Daokan culture in Lorikeet has been decimated. Bonitana also had a small Daokan community and cultural presence prior to the Leveling of Bonitana in 3019.
