The Novenae Defense Force (NDF) is the military arm of the city-state of Novenae, tasked with defending the city and its' people. It is divided into the Ground, Aerospace, Naval, and Home divisions, with the Prime Minister serving as the Commander-in-chief.
The various terrorist attacks and riots have prompted a large expansion of the military. Due to its' small size, Novenae relies heavily on force multipliers especially in regards to military technology. Novenae's Research & Engineering Bureau is one of the largest offices within the Ministry of Defense, and is responsible for the output of defense technology. While robotic forces have been considered, the Prime Minister has generally rejected their use and only a small group of automated soldiers are maintained.
Structure
The NDF consists of four service branches: the ground, naval, aerospace, and home divisions.
Ground Division
The ground division is the largest service branch of the NDF, consisting of voluntarily enlisted soldiers. The Ground Division hosts a plethora of specializations, including heavy artillery, engineering, and logistics.
Inversely, the naval division is one of the smallest service branches, mainly tasked with protecting Novenae's shipping port and the bay area.

Regional commands disperse military protection evenly.
