The Corporate Hub (often abbreviated as TCH) is a corporate entity created for the sole purpose of uniting all corporations. TCH has 3 branches- legislative, executive, and judicial, each with their own specific funcitons.
The legislative branch's main organ is the High Corporate Chamber- a place of discussion where corporations can meet, discuss current affairs, create proposals, and resolve issues. The executive branch consists of TCH Staff, who are responsible for the general upkeep of the corporation. This branch also consists of the TCH Directorate, a group of anonymous officials who function under one name. Their identities and the number of people on this secretive council are not known, or if it even is a council. The inner workings of the directorate are a closely-guarded secret. The judicial branch consists of TCH's Universal Court, a neutral arbitrator that corporations can report to if they need to resolve a dispute.
History
TCH was originally founded sometime in 3015 by Richard Davis Wright, who sought to unite and promote peace and prosperity between corporations. The corporation gained traction fairly quickly, though ironically Wright would resign after being embroiled in scandal and controversy.
In anger, Wright destroyed most of TCH's assets, leaving the corporation a ruin of what it was. This was met with criticism by many of its' former member corporations, but Wright would soon go into exile and never be seen again.
From The Ashes
TCH ceased all activities during the depression, lying dormant with nobody to take command. The DefCon League took its' place as the main intermediary for corporations, though it was obliterated after the collapse of the Byfair industrial sector. From here, it is not clear what occurred. It has been theorized that an unknown entity, either consisting of one corporation or multiple corporations, revived TCH completely with a restructuring of its' internal organization and invited all existing corporations back to the alliance.
There has been some speculation that Richard returned, though this is impossible to determine as Richard has never been seen following his exile. The TCH Directorate, the main governing body of TCH, hides the identities of its' members closely to maintain neutrality. TCH quickly gained traction again as the central corporation for everyone to converge on.
Formation of Novenae
One of the first proposals submitted to the High Corporate Chamber was for the formation of Novenae- a neutral city-state which would serve as a place for corporations to initiate peace talks, exchange ideas, and trade. The TCH Directorate elected HR, a former combat medic from Tibet, to lead the country in its' first years.
