The Firelands, also known as the Great Wastes, is a nearly uninhabitable area located to the south of Eindhoven and Wiltshire, continuing until it reaches the sea. Plagued by dust storms from the Great Bukharam Desert and other arid areas, wind speeds commonly reach 160 KPH (100 MPH). Not much is known about the region, but the occasional wanderers manage to find ways to live inside of it.
Radiation and other bio-hazardous materials are also present in the area. The radiation is roughly ~1000 years old and appears to originate from an abandoned nuclear power plant, whilst the bio-hazardous materials are present due to the region acting as a waste dump for Mechadyne and Chisel Enterprises.
