Renaissance (Daokan: Whakahoutanga) is a broad-church progressive political party that operates in Wiltshire. Founded by Prime Minister David-Eli Attlee, Renaissance was founded after a split in the Socialist and People's Action Party, following the latter's announcement that it would not support the government's agenda, known as the New Social Contract. The party received most of the Assembly caucus of the Socialists, as well as defections from other parties, including Kaitiaki Ropu, the Ecologists & Greens, the Republicans, and the Conservative Democrats. The party is officially the party of government.
