About
Archotech Industries and Research is a research and manufacturing corporation, its headquarters located in the city of Novenae of the NCR in the Doggerland region. Archotech Industries hopes to "build a better future for everyone". Their production and research facility is in the Zaandam prefecture.
Founding
While it is unknown when or what civilizations built the archotech supercomputers, they are responsible for many of the inventions and sciences provided by Archotech Industries. Archotech Industries specializes in the research and production of products ranging from electronics to bionic implants. It has partnered with the NCR to help the nation grow into a more prosperous and advanced society giving it's residents a better and worry-free life. The corporation's biggest milestone will be to build some form of megastructure (what kind of megastructure has not been disclosed yet) and move humanity into a civilization stage comparable with ancient glamourworlds of the past.
History
The history of Archotech, or at least the Terran HQ, goes back to 3011, when the current CEO, Ludwig Theodor Klebitz, was interviewed by the "benefactors", a trio of men in black suits, of yet unknown origin. They employed him in hopes of keeping archotechnology alive, by creating a corporation out of it. The real history, though, started with the first archotech supercomputers of which the history is vaguely known. There is so little information about these, that not even the "benefactors" know the full story of these machine superintelligences. It is rumored, that the "benefactors" were sent by one of the last remaining supercomputers to save the technology it has created, before the galactic cataclysm.
