The Daokan City-States of Neotokyo and Okinawa otherwise known as The Daokan States or Okinawa was a sovereign city state located in the British Monarchical Clique. The city was the largest of the Viva nations, in terms of area, population and significance. Consisting of the cities of Neotokyo and Okinawa, the Daokan States are most known for their status as the birthplace of Daokan culture and the DAOKO corporation.

Identity

Okinawa is best known for its deep rooted Japanese culture. The Sensoji Gate and Meiji Shopping Street are just two of notable Japanese-era landmarks in the city, and Japanese architecture has had a profound effect on the cities architecture. Japanese and Pacific Islander immigrants founded Okinawa in 2837 in an attempt to restore historic landmarks and the old Japanese identity. Over the years, there was a fusion in identity between the founders and the Sicilian residents of the city. This merger in culture was widely regarded as the beginning of the Daokan identity.

The Urban Cave district of Okinawa was the educational, arts and nightlife center of the city, most known for its fusion of architectural styles, mixed use development and the Grand Okinawa library, which housed 900,000 historically important Japanese, Okinawan and Sicilian documents, scriptures and books. These were transferred to the Daokan Archive in Sentosa in 3017.

DAOKO

DAOKO was founded in Okinawa in late 3013, with the foundation of the DAOKO School in Okinawa. The second DAOKO School opened in Neotokyo just four months later. By the end of 3014, DAOKO operated more schools than the Daokan government, who frequently looked to the company for advice on education in the country. The city acted as the headquarter for the corporation from November 3013 to March 3014, and June 3014 to July 3016.

History

Okinawa has now ceased to exist, but the government of the Okinawa worked with the DAOKO corporation to evacuate all residents prior to B.M.C.-wide destruction. All 532,500 residents were moved out of the nation to the newly founded Lorikeet in 3016, described as the spiritual successor of Okinawa and would serve as the new head Daokan state. Following the transaction of land from Daokan ownership to Bonitanan, many Okinawan-born Daokans moved to Sentosa and Marino.
