Bonitaña is a major city of the Eastern Federal Republic (EFR), and is one of the constituent states of the republic. It is a major economic and population centre in the region.
Bonitaña is a mostly urban and suburban city, with public transport, high standards of living, and was home to the government of the former UCGB.
Bonitaña's economy is mostly commercial and in the service sector, being home to many businesses and corporations, and also serving as a major exporter of labor and goods.
In 3018, Bonitaña was a constitutional monarchy, with King Daeron I serving as the first King of Bonitana. The monarchy was deposed on the 30th of November, 3018 after the president of the UCGB authorized A.S.R authorities to arrest the ruling monarch, Heinrich Totenkopf.

As a indepedent city-state
Bonitaña began as a city-state under the direction of Joe Wolf, the affluent owner of the corporation Wolf/Elite (WE) and a partner of Chisel Enterprises (CE) and Mesa-Dog Corporation. The city originally housed WE employees, operating as their headquarters in the region. Eventually, as employee needs increased, the headquarters was developed into a full-on city.
Bonitaña's early history was marked by a state of warfare, engaging in two wars against the neighboring states of Almere, Villagerington, Arstotzka, and the Soviet Republic of Almere Valley (SRAV).
After the wars, Bonitaña's politics moved into conservatism and national irredentism but its economy was relatively unaffected, mostly due to their plundering of gold reserves from A.S.R and nationalizing banks that failed in the subsequent depression.
After exiting the depression, Bonitana was briefly ruled by a council of Mechadyne employees.
