Template:Nation infoboxNovenæ, nicknamed the City of Corporations, is a city-state located in the central region of the Doggerlands, sandwiched between Byfair to the north and Sunnyvale to the south.
The city is known for its' accepting attitude towards businesses and business entrepeneurs, a tax haven for upper-class corporate bigshots, and its' long-honored mindset of staying neutral unless provoked.
Etymology
"Novenæ" comes from Latin meaning "group of nine"- to represent the nine corporations that founded the city.
History
Novenae was originally proposed within TCH's High Corporate Chamber, marketed as a place where corporations could do business, initiate peace talks, and hold meetings. Old Flopland adjoining Sunnyvale was bulldozed, and flattened to make way for new developments in the city.
Shortly after, the current government, set up by the TCH directorate, would come into power. HR was put into place as Prime Minister and pushed the country forth with a battery of new legislation and urban projects.

Novenae's constitution lays out the baseline for how the city should be run.
The Novenae parliament consists of corporations with embassies in Novenae, each having one seat represented by their CEO or another appointed ambassador.
There are currently 9 corporations in control of Novenae:
- Chisel Enterprises
- BlackCon Labs Corporation
- ANAC Group
- Porky Corporation
- Quantum Motorsports
- ArtistKen Industries
- Fibonacci Corporation
- Vedas Foundation (passive and receives no vote as CEO is the Prime Minister)
- Xe Holdings Limited (passive and receives no vote as CEO already has a seat in Parliament)
Military
Novenae's military is composed almost entirely of donated troops and equipment. Current donors include Chisel Enterprises, BlackCon Labs Corporation, Porky Corporation, ANAC Group and Mechadyne.
Economy
Novenae has been ranked one of the easiest cities to do business in, and the government encourages corporation owners to create headquarters and embassies in Novenae. The corporate tax is among the lowest in the Doggerlands, coupled with strong property rights and little regulations restricting businesses big and small. To top that, many Corporate ambassadors are invited to become members of the Novenae Parliament, posing more benefits for corporations as they get a hand in the country's government.
Controversy
Novenæ's government recently came under fire due to it's handling of the Gray Death refugee crisis. Refugees, hoping to make it into Novenæ approached the border and were ordered to stop by security forces. A riot ensued, with Novenæ police barely being able to push back the refugees. The Novenæ Defense Force was mobilized fully onto the scene- bringing with them flamethrowers and other anti-riot measures. An estimated 30,000 refugees were wounded, injured, or killed in the ordeal.
Prime Minister H.R. has since offered an official apology for the incident, and claims that the government will be reviewing how they handle these incidents in the future.
