Eindhoven and Bukharam, officially the Eindhoven-Bukharam Secular State (EBSS), is a nation and federal subject of the Eastern Federal Republic (EFR). Divided between the desert region and city of Bukharam in the west and the autonomous city of Minevgrad and Eindhoven in the east, the EBSS is one of the most diverse regions of the EFR. It is also the least developed member of the EFR, with a human development index in the medium range. This is rapidly changing, however, with the expansion of the oil industry and the expansion of the Lorikeet metropolitan area into the region.
