Template:Nation infoboxThe Austro-Suisse Staatenbund is a democratic republic comprising most of former Austria and Switzerland, as well as a large portion of Eastern Europe.

History

Politics

Organization The Staatenbund itself is a confederation of two states - Austria, and Switzerland. They also contain territories annexed from theΒ New Holy Roman Empire, including Lombardy and parts of Piedmont and Bavaria. However, the official name refers to Greater Hungary as well, which is a client state with it's own senate and relatively high autonomy. Galicia-Bohem is a semi-autonomous state that is controlled directly by the senate of the Staatenbund, unlike Greater Hungary.

Geography

The Austro-Suisse Staatenbund, Galicia-Bohem Protectorate and Hungary

The Staatenbund includes the parts of the former states of Switzerland and Austria, its predecessors. Other territories in the state include Lombardy and Piedmont, along with parts of former Germany including Bavaria. Most of the former Austria state actually is not inside the Staatenbund, and this is due to the rapid expansion of theΒ Ukrainian Empire, which pushed the republic to the West. The former capital, Vienna (Wien), was evacuated and the capital changed to Zurich during the rapid advance of the Ukrainians. The current area that was former Austria is now controlled by the semi-autonomous protectorate of Galicia-Bohem, which acts as a buffer between the Staatenbund and theΒ Ukrainian Empire.
