WBC - The Broadcasting Corporation, known commonly as the WBC, is a private broadcaster and independent media corporation that operates in the Doggerlands. First founded in Wiltshire in 3009, the WBC was established to be a news provider for Wiltshire. It quickly developed into a multi-faceted media corporation, operating television broadcasting, online streaming services, radio shows and 24-hour a day news service. The WBC Newsroom provides the 24-hour a day news service, free of charge on all platforms. In addition, WBC radio (besides news) is free to all, and the WBC entertainment television services are free to all people in certain countries. Initially, this service only extended to people living in Wiltshire, however, this has since been expanded to seven different countries.
The WBC 24-hour a day news service is the most watched and listened to news service in the world, helping the WBC become the single largest active media corporation in the world. In 3020, their entertainment television shows accounted for 43% of the entertainment television market and over 80% of the market within Wiltshire.
In 3025, the corporation rebranded to drop the "Wiltshire Broadcasting Corporation" name that it had since 3009. It was replaced with WBC - The Broadcasting Corporation.
