Mythos Unbound

Mythos Unbound is a collection of roleplay stories written by Grand_Tarkin. Started in 2023 with the publication of Shadows & Swords, Mythos Unbound is categorized as stories that "explore the mythos of the TCH universe". The series was joined by Of Gods & Aliens, a Christmas special, in December 2023. Grand_Tarkin has announced that there will be more projects in Mythos Unbound and that they will push the boundaries of the roleplay in new and exciting ways.

A third story in the collection, titled World Enough & Time, was written and published in February 2024 as a soft-sequel to Of Gods & Aliens, following the character of the Master in the aftermath of the Battle of St. Bernard's Town. The fourth entry, titled Curve, was a choose-your-own adventure story, which took the reader through the mysterious events at the Marino nightclub called "Curve". A sequel to Curve, titled The Prime Directive, began publication in October 3024 as a "halloween special".

The Mythos Unbound collection sits parallel to the Series collection. It has been announced that characters from both can and will crossover and that all stories in both collections fit onto a single, connected timeline.

When his life is thrown upside down by an unusual signal from the otherside of time and space, Ben confronts the humanity of his neighbours in St. Bernard's town. A group of aliens, called the Helix, seek the refuge of Ben's community. When they are persued by a deadly force of unknown spatial power, time and space must collide to save Christmas.
World Enough & Time		February 2024	10 parts written in a third person style. Just as all hope is list, something different falls on the Earth. The Time Lord renegade known as the Master, having been defeated at the Battle of St. Bernard's Town, falls on the Chisel Enterprises facility at Diablo Mesa. Desperate to learn the secrets of Time Lord biology, Chisel Enterprises begin experimenting on the alien. But, when he escapes, the consequences become dire.
Curve		March - May 2024	18 short instalments, written to respond to a choose-your-own adventure style of story. "The Overconfidence of Elise Krige" "Race for the Flag" "Down, Down..." "... Into the Belly of the Beast" "When Mysteries Converge" "The Monoeye Conundrum" "The Cavern of Green" "Assimilation" "The Stolen Choice" "Almost Midnight" "The Power of Three"	You are Elise Krige, a bio-medical engineering student at the University of Marino. Determined to complete your final piece of work, you reluctantly accept an invitation from your room mate to go out for the night. Your destination? Curve - the newest nightclub to hit the Doggerlands. What you hope will be a quick excursion into a social unknown turns out to become a night never to be forgotten. But what will you do? How will you proceed? You are in the driver's seat. You choose.
The Prime Directive		October 2024 until present	7 instalments, 1 prologue, and 1 epilogue. Prologue: "The Farthest Star"	Elise joins Cal and Hawk's Starfleet crew as they continue to hunt the remnants of the Borg. When they are thrown back through time, the balance of history is cast into chaos.
Shadows & Swords II: The Blackfyre Bastard		TBA	20 instalments based on the points-of-view of: Lord Kamari Tartary Lord Eagan Tartary Sir Eagan "Egg" Pena Dame Arecel Duffey Sir Andaren Flores Gatsby	The young Eagan Tartary has become a recluse, hiding from even Kamari. As the secret of Eagan's lineage comes to the surface, Kamari fights a losing battle against a resentful knight with abilities beyond the comprehension of this world.

Future projects

Grand_Tarkin has confirmed that there will be at least three Mythos Unbound projects in 2024. The first two, World Enough & Time and Solomon & Night, are in active development (see above). The third story of 2024 (and the fifth overall) has been confirmed to be titled Dust & Starlight and will be set in space.

A sequel to Shadows & Swords was announced in December 2023 as part of Grand_Tarkin's future plans announcement. However, following a reprioritisation, it was confirmed that Shadows & Swords II would be shelved in favour of original projects. The slot that would have been filled by Shadows & Swords II was filled by World Enough & Time. Later, it was announced that the Shadows & Swords sequel would be produced in "late 2024 or early 2025" and would be titled Oaths & Honours.

A comedy, based on Douglas Adams's The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, is set to be produced in 2024. It will be titled Life, the Universe & Everything.

Grand_Tarkin expressed interest in producing a Mythos Unbound story co-written by ThePontificate. No details confirmed.
