Richard Davis Wright III (Russian: Ричард Дэвис Райт, Ukrainian: Річард Девіс Райт) sometimes called "Ivan" was the former Progenitor of BlackCon Labs Corporation.

Richard is the son of Nikolai Wright, a neurosurgeon famous for performing emergency surgery on Robbert Teck, saving his life. Richard was born in Kiev, Ukraine to Nikolai and an unknown Martian woman who left early in his childhood. Wright's career as a businessman was marked by severe turbulence. He was known for his short temper and impulsivity. However, Wright was able to rise to the rank of Progenitor in BlackCon Labs Corporation until he was removed due to disagreements with the company's board of directors.

Shortly afterwards, Wright separated himself from the corporate community entirely.

Wright suffered from schizophrenia, though went undiagnosed for most of his life.
