The House of Commons, officially the Honourable the Commons of the Third Wiltshire Republic in Parliament assembled, is the lower house of the Parliament of Wiltshire. Like the upper house, the Senate, it meets in Juneville Central since the first election in November 3019 and the State Opening of the First Parliament.
The Commons is an elected body consisting of 240 members known as Members of Parliament (MPs). Members are elected to represent constituencies (electoral districts) by the first-past-the-post system and hold their seats from swearing in (after a General Election) until dissolution.
The House of Commons was first formed on November 28, 3019 following the first General Election under the provisions of the Parliaments Act 3019, in which the Wiltshire Assembly was dissolved to form a new Parliament. Since the first formation, the Commons has been in the control of the Labour Government, led by Henry Campbell-Trenneman.
