The Sentinel Unit are heavy assault units used by the Terram Auca, often serving as field commanders and high ranking officers (Cossus). These towering colossus's are nothing but machines made for war, in order to be a Sentinel, an Oscdean must be physically modified to be taller and bulkier in order to wear the Sentinel Suit and wield the Ion cannon.

Overview

Chosen warriors, Sentinels are by far one of the most dangerous units to face against during the trial of battle, they wear near-impenetrable armor fitted with an array of devastating arsenals and commonly carry a multi-fitted Ion Cannon. If the Sentinel is used properly, they are capable of doing more damage than a standard armored vehicle. Like most armor in the Terram Auca, they are capable of fighting in both interplanetary and low atmospheric conditions and equipped with a medical system along with a modified propulsion pack that gives them a very limited boost and glide time.

Combat

Stories circulate among the Terram Auca legions that a Sentinel Unit singlehandedly beated and won a hand on hand fight after duking it out with a C.E PMC Übersoldaten unit during the Morsehead Conflagartion. Although the story is yet to be validated, many enemies have vastly underestimated the capabilities of a sentinel unit.

One of their main weapon choices is an Ion cannon, which is capable of spitting out dozens of plasma rounds every second, acting as sort of a Gatling gun for suppressive fire or just ruining someones day.

While they are immobile and aren't threatening from long ranges, facing them at close proximity is a death wish as they have the ability to fire a barrage of micro missiles from their backs and send a shockwave through the ground from a "ground smash" ability.

Occasionally, there are "Utean Sentinels" deployed during combat, these Sentinel Units carry the traditional Oscdean switch axe and a large shield.
