The Red War, also called it The War for Independence, was a revolution of many nations under the SMG Hegemony against the mother country. SMG infamously treated its client states with a significant amounts of corrupt control over the governments, and implementing oppressive policies against the peoples of each nation. Nations included in the liberation include the Oscdean States, Dalkai, Dark Angels, Elysia, and Scion. The Haven hegemony rivaled SMG by agreeing to intervene must total war break out.
The revolution started out with the Oscdean States declaring a break from the SMG Hegemony, being the most integrated, it led the other nations active in separatist movements to declare similar breaks.

The Red War officially began with SMG invading parts of the New Frontier in southwestern West Frontalis. Beforehand, the Oscdean States and Dalkai thought a normal SMG foward operation base being established near the northern coast of the New Frontier. 3 days later, massive shipments of weapons, equipment, and portable facilities came were seen being distributed
