The Novenæ's People for Liberation (NPL) was an anti-corporate party in Novenae that evolved into a proto-state known as the People's Republic of Novenæ following the Novenae Riots. Strongly opposed to corporate power in the Doggerlands, the NPL stages protests, sabotage, and asymmetric warfare tactics to overthrow the corporate powers.
An ally of the Bonitanan People's Liberation Army, the NPL secures most of its arms from operatives within Bonitana and Byfair, and often plans their riots in those locations as well due to the small size of Novenæ.
History
Main article: Novenae Riots
The NPL organization has its roots in the Novenae Riots, a series of violent protests that sought to replace Novenae's corporate government with an entirely civilian one.
Economy
The NPL is a strong advocate of socialism. According to the NPL doctrine, all corporations must be heavily restricted in their activities to prevent them from controlling the people.
