West Byfair

Template:Nation infoboxWest Byfair, officially the Republic Of West Byfair, was a constituent state and city of the United Cities of Greater Bonitana (U.C.G.B). Split off from Byfair during the October Conflict, West Byfair has always had a culturally distinct personality from it's eastern counterpart.

Founded in 3016 as a harbor by Nope.co and Mechadyne, West Byfair began to develop into a small, industrialised, town. Eventually larger factories and transit systems were implemented, but airborne transport began to overshadow the town. Factories east of the canal were torn down in the midst of the War of Arstotzkan Secession due to financial instability, creating a domino effect that collapsed the entire region-wide industrial complex. Byfair was occupied by the Almere Socialist Republic (A.S.R) without consent from its two governing bodies, Mechadyne and Nope.co, sometime around 3017.

In 3018, during the October Conflict, the U.C.G.B launched a successful  aerial invasion of all of Byfair. By the end of the conflict, Byfair west of the canal was liberated from the A.S.R through the Bukharam Peace Treaty, and the Republic of West Byfair was created.

Because of improving relations and a restructuring of East Byfair into Barkshire, the A.S.R allowed Bonitana to take jursidiction of Byfair east of the canal, reuniting the nation.
