The Monarchy of Estyn was established 1477 years ago in 102 AC following the Conquest of Estyn by King Arthur the Consolidator. The Conquest united five of the six Kingdoms under House Francisco, with The Kingdom of the Rock being conquered in 211 by King Maegor II.

Since conquest, 8 Royal Houses have sat on the throne. These houses are;

House Francisco - Founded by King Arthur I in 102, House Francisco is a descendent House of the old Russian Empire. House Francisco was exiled from the Russian Empire however following attempts to create political unrest. The House moved to the Island of Dragonstone, where they later conquered five of the six Kingdoms of Estyn.
House Calais - House Calais was the direct successor House to House Francisco. The first Calais King was the son of Princess Sirella Francisco, who was the daughter of King Jaehaerys II. House Calais was the ruling House in the Kingdom of the Rhoynar, being known as the Sinners Realm. King Andrew I was the King to unite Estyn with the Sinners Realm (going independent under Queen Matilda Martell). The title 'King of Sins' was held by every succeeding monarch until King Andrew II.
House Martell - House Martell was the House of Dorne. The Leader of House Martell was the Crown Prince/Princess of Dorne. Following the beheading of King Clarence I, the monarchy was not ruling, until Isabel (the granddaughter of King Andrew I) re-established the monarchy with her alliance with House Martell. House Martell would then become the sister house to House Calais, until King Jaehaerys III who decided to be a sole member of House Martell. House Martell would rule until Robert's Rebellion in 981.
House Baratheon - House Baratheon was the House that held the title 'Lord of Storm's End'. House Baratheon was close with the crown, until 981 with Robert's Rebellion. Robert led the North, the Vale and the Westerlands to defeat the weak King Andrew II. House Baratheon ruled through King Robert I until the Plantagenet Conquest of Estyn in 1115 AC under King Nicholas II.
House Plantagenet - House Plantagenet, formed by Henry of Stoke Port, was the House that conquered all of Estyn. This was the first time since Arthur's conquest. The Plantagenets were, essentially, foreign rulers. House Plantagenet ruled for many years, from Henry I to Matilda II. House Plantagenet's reign over Estyn ended with Matilda II married Alexander Gregory and, for the first time in history, allowed her son to take his father's name. House Plantagenet would be shortly restored in the War of the Clans, and then unite with House Gregory to form House Osborn-Brooks

House Martell had strong ancestral links to Arthur the Consolidator, but it is believed by many that Daeron's blood goes that far back too as King Robert's great grandfather married into the House Calais (the direct successors of the Francisco), he then remarried, but during his first marriage he had 3 sons. Those sons are believed to be the ancestors of ALL modern day Kings, with the exception of Argon I and Francis II

House Osborn-Brooks was founded by King Aerys II in order to end the War of the Clans where Houses Gregory (led by Aerys II) and Plantagenet (led by Henry VI). The War of the Clans was started in 1305 when King Argon began his invasion of Estyn. Argon was the Hand of the King to King Maegor V in Pentos (due to the settlements act of 1244 Estapor and Pentos both had their own Privy Councils and Hand of the King's), but when Maegor V's son, Aerys, took the throne he denied Estapor and Pentos free and fair elections.
