Overview

Chisel Enterprises' Global Headquarters is a large three-building skyscraper complex located in downtown Cyrene, Paxem. The towers flank Morsehead Plaza on three sides, with the fourth open to the Bay of Cyrene. The headquarters serves as the administrative center for the Chisel Enterprises Megacorporation. CEO Stanford Wesker's office is located in the middle tower, designated Troika 02.

Construction

Construction on the Troika began on February 2, 3022. The three towers making up the complex were some of the first structures to make up the downtown Cyrene skyline. A large concrete base had to be poured, as the bank along the bay of Cyrene was deemed to be too soft for the weight of the three buildings, which are primarily made out of the incredibly heavy Bonitañan Glass. These buildings were the first major constructs to be made out of this building material, with 90% of the exterior building material being Bonitañan Glass.

The primary construction firm for the project was the C.E. subsidiary Heimat Construction, which completed the building to specifications two months behind schedule. The construction process was marred by the 3021 construction worker's strike which stagnated construction schedules across the entire city. Heimat Construction blamed the strike for the two month delay.

Design

Troika 01, 02, and 03.

The Troika is designed in the monumental, unornate style that would become emblematic of Cyrene's skyline. Each building is a roughly trapezoidal prism, steeply sloping up to a flat roof which houses two large landing pads. The front of each building is completely windowless, uniform, and somewhat reflective. The rear face is built from darkly painted concrete, and is peppered with open apertures, some of which are balconies, and some serving as entrance ports of aerial vehicles. The triangular and brightly Chisel Enterprises logo is emblazoned on the front of the middle building.

The interior of the buildings are similarly darkly colored. The main lobby of each building is a cathedral-like space, brightly lit by white OLED ceiling lights. The effect is a harsh lighting style which starkly illuminates the the floor of the room, but leaves the upper areas shadowed.

The buildings have been the subject of mixed reception. Some praised them for their futuristic, functional, and revolutionary style. The Troika is showcased positively in the Cyrene Museum of Architecture's main exhibit on corporate style throughout history.

Others have critiqued the buildings for being intentionally oppressive and imposing, making the viewer feel uncomfortable both outside and within. Jacques LeFou, famed Marinan architect, stated of the complex: "One feels as if they are standing before a monument, some kind of Ozymandian structure meant to showcase power at the expensive of the common citizen. The building detracts from the average visitor's experience, it does not add to it."

Buildings

All three buildings are nearly identical from the exterior, with the only large-scale perceptible difference being the triangular C.E. logo on the front of Troika 02. All buildings have 12 AV garages accessible from entry ports on the upper rear face and two landing pads on their roofs.

Troika 01: Research

Troika 01 houses a variety of research facilities, and is completely closed to the public. Various forms of scientific research are undertaken in the facility, including pharmaceutical research, physics, and nuclear technology. There is an experimental Fusion reactor located below the tower.

Troika 02: Administrative

Troika 02 houses the administrative function of the Chisel Enterprises Megacorporation, and is seen as the primary tower of the complex, despite being almost visually identical to the others from the outside. The lobby of this building is the most impressive, being over thirty meters tall and including a reflecting pool, several sitting areas, and exhibits on several famous Chisel Enterprises creations. The lobby is open to the public, but requires a security screening to enter. The rest of the building is closed.

Troika 02 contains a large amount of office space for the various divisions of the company, conference rooms, and recreational spaces such as indoor atriums. Notable floors of the buildings are floors 60-61, which house C.E.'s Corporate Intelligence division, and floor 84, which contains Stanford Wesker's office.

Building 03: Conference/Mixed Use

Troika 03 contains a large conference center taking up 30 of its 90 floors. This includes a massive indoor atrium containing over 550 species of plants from various biomes. The building also has a hotel, indoor pool, and houses a number of offices. Chisel Enterprises subdivisions Heimat Construction and ChisTek are notably based from this building.

Security

The Troika is one of several corporate buildings in Cyrene authorized to employ the use of defensive surface to air missile launchers. In addition, the building is also very resistant to exterior damage due to the large use of Bonitañan glass in its construction, an intentional design choice which has been replicated by numerous other corporations in Cyrene for security reasons. The complex makes use of Rapiscan security equipment to screen entrants.
